Gettin' my baby fix!!!!

Back in October I spent a day at my BFF Tara's house. I babysat the twins for her, helped her make shirts for their 1st birthday & just hung out with them. They are the best babies & so much fun. As you can see I took tons of pictures. I just love them!!!

Birthday Milestones

Ok, I said I was going to catch up on posts & I MEAN IT!!!! This will prove just how far behind I am!!!! My baby boy turned 13 on September 5th & my baby girl turned 10 on September 18th. I really can't believe how fast time flies. Seems like just yesterday they were born. Here are a few pictures to share. They got a Wii from Mom & Dad and lots of gifts from family & friends. As you can see, Adam doesn't like to have his picture taken so he makes goofy faces. I told him that someday he will look back and wonder why there are no good pictures of him!!!! Courtney on the other hand is a ham!!

Running in circles!!!!

Wow....I have TOTALLY neglected this blog!!!!! I have been so busy & have not been sitting at the computer as much. I guess that is a good thing in a way!! I am working on getting some posts together and hoping that I can catch up on blogging this weekend. I've got some exciting things to share & lots of pictures to post, so stay tuned!!

I am looking forward to Thanksgiving & shopping on BLACK FRIDAY!!!! Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday!!

Tackle It Tuesday: Project Update!!!

Ok, so yesterday wasn't a total bust! I did finally clean off my scrapbook desk & start on a project. I didn't clean the entire closet out like I wanted to, but at least I started on a Christmas present!!

Right after I got done posting my Tackle It Tuesday post, I got a call from a friend inviting me to lunch for mexican food. Well, you know what that means............A BIG FAT FROZEN RITA!!! Or 2, or 3.....hehe......so that's what I did instead of tackling a project. Oh well...there's always tomorrow!

Tackle It Tuesday: Which project to tackle today???

Happy Tuesday everyone!! I am faced with 3 big projects that really need attention. My scrapbook area, my coupons & Courtney's room. Last Tuesday I posted about having all of the laundry caught up & put away. I am happy to report that I've kept up with my new routine of doing a load or 2 everyday. It's so much easier that way! I also posted about cleaning out my coupon binder & that I was trying to cut a set of inserts everyday. Well, I haven't done it EVERYDAY, but whenever I'm wa

tching TV I try to work on them.

So, today I got up & decided that I need to tackle one of the 3 big

projects that need to be done. My scrapbook area is a mess. I have a "scrap closet" that is right off of my kitchen & everything that doesn't have a home seems to get piled on it. Courtney will help me get the table ready for dinner & that is her idea of cleaning it off. She just moves everything to my desk. Since Christmas is fast approaching I need to get in there & get started on Christmas gifts. Here is what my ar

om is small & it doesn't take long for it to get out of control. I will admit, it's not all her fault this time. I moved a dresser in there & then moved her barbie doll house out that she doesn't play with anymore. I also moved her new vanity in there that I got her at a garage sale. I got her a different headboard & footboard because her bed is falling apart, but haven't switched them out yet. So...stuff has just been getting thrown in there and nothing done with it. 90% of

And last but not least....my coupons. In this picture you will see my coupon binder on the floor underneath the table with my All You Magazines sitting on top. On top of the table you will see all the inserts paper clipped together by week. I've been gradually working on them, but I kinda considered getting it all done today.

Tackle It Tuesday: Laundry, Coupons & Swine Flu...oh my!!!

Oh what a day. Courtney has been home sick for the past 2 days with symptoms similar to H1N1 flu. Her endocrinologist suggested she get swabbed for the virus since she has diabetes. We wont know the results until tomorrow morning.

I got all of the laundry caught up last week. By done I mean done, folded & put away...WOOO HOOOO!!! I've been trying to do at least 1 load every day to try and keep up with it. This seems to be working so far, so I'm hoping I have the motivation to keep it up. It amazing to me how fast it piles up.

I also cleaned out my coupon binder & sorted through all of my coupon inserts. Sadly, I have not done much with my coupons lately. The amout of coupons I had that are expired made me sick. It was like throwing money away!! I've been trying to sit down & cut at least one set of inserts every day in order to get them filed. I have alot more motivation to get out there and deal hunt when my coupons are organized!!! Just a pic to show you how much I threw away....

Menu Plan Monday: NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!!!

Simple as that, not gonna happen! I'm not saying that I'm not cooking this week, I'm just saying that the usual planning, shopping & posting of the menu for the week is not going to happen as scheduled! Sickness has hit our house & quite frankly I don't have the energy! I am also working 2 extra nights this week, the kids have both started basketball & hubby is attempting to get in the field. The rain is putting a damper on that one though. I'm hoping to find some time & energy to make the Crockpot Apple Pie recipe that I posted about last week. From doll house to cat house!!

Courtney decided she doesn't play with her barbie doll house anymore, so we cleaned it out & moved it into the living room until we find some place to store it. Daisy Mae has decided to take it over. This is where she has been ever since we moved it. Too funny!!

Tackle It Tuesday: Getting out of a rut!!!

Happy Tuesday everyone! On Sunday I blogged about being in a rut. Well, I decided that I need to just get over whatever it is that is keeping me in that rut & get some things done around here. Which is kinda funny because I really don't know why I was feeling so blah. But, anyways.....I've been a busy busy girl. I spent most of today working on getting the laundry caught up, sorting through coupon inserts & cleaning up my scrapbook desk in anticipation of starting some Christmas projects. I'm hoping to have some pics to share of a few of the projects I'm planning to do. I made a "to-do" list so lets see if I can stick to it!!!!

My sister in law passed on 3 trash bags full of hand me downs for Courtney so that adds about 4 more loads of laundry to my list. Not that I'm complaining......I LOVE ALL THINGS FREE!!!!
